Navy Blue Ballistic Nylon Weave Macro

Nylon

The original NATO material. Woven ballistic nylon is lightweight, breathable, water resistant, and virtually indestructible under normal use. It softens slightly with wear, conforms to the wrist, and dries fast after contact with water. The right choice for daily wear, sport, travel, and anyone who does not want to think about their strap. Available in the widest range of colours and patterns of any material.

Nylon NATO straps are also the most historically accurate — the original 1973 MoD specification called for woven nylon construction with stainless steel hardware. Everything since is a variation on that formula.

Full-Grain Tan Leather Macro

Leather

Full-grain leather in a NATO-style single-pass configuration. More structured than nylon, with a dress character that suits watches worn to formal occasions. Leather NATO straps age beautifully — the patina that develops with wear is part of the appeal. Best kept away from prolonged water exposure. The right choice for dress watches, office wear, and anyone who prefers the feel of leather against the wrist.

Tan, dark brown and black are the most versatile leather colourways — each reads differently depending on the watch case and dial colour.

Perlon

A single-layer woven mesh of nylon fibres, with a ladder-style construction that allows the buckle pin to sit at any position along the strap — not just at fixed holes. This means a perfect fit regardless of wrist size. Perlon is thinner and lighter than standard nylon, making it ideal for slim dress watches where bulk is unwanted. It is also highly breathable, making it comfortable in warm weather. A niche choice, but one that rewards those who find it.

Black Vulcanized Rubber Watch Strap Macro

Rubber & Silicone

The sport and dive configuration. Rubber and silicone NATO straps are fully waterproof, hypoallergenic, and easy to clean. They do not absorb moisture or odour, making them the practical choice for swimming, diving, and high-intensity activity. Less breathable than nylon in warm conditions, but unmatched for water resistance. Best paired with dive watches, sport chronographs, and tool watches designed for active use.

Canvas & Cordura

Heavier and more textured than standard nylon, canvas and Cordura straps have a raw, utilitarian character that suits field watches and military-inspired pieces. The texture softens with wear and develops a patina similar to leather. A considered choice for those who want the durability of nylon with a more tactile, vintage-adjacent feel.
